Who I share your data with
– Email handling: Contact form messages are sent via WPForms and delivered into my Gmail mailbox.
– Analytics: Google Analytics (via Site Kit by Google).
– Hosting & security: My site is self-hosted on my own server using Docker and Caddy, with Cloudflare providing DNS. This means Cloudflare may process technical data such as your IP address.

International transfers
Some services I use (such as Google and Gmail) may process data outside the UK and European Economic Area.
Where this happens, the provider applies legal safeguards recognised under UK and EU law, such as the UK/EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or equivalent. These safeguards are designed to ensure your data receives adequate protection even when processed abroad.

– Contact form enquiries: Kept for up to 24 months unless you ask me to delete them sooner.
– Analytics data: Retained under Google’s default settings (currently 14 months).

Under data protection law, you have the right to:
– Access the data I hold about you.
– Correct incomplete or inaccurate data.
– Erase your data (where I have no overriding legal reason to keep it).
– Restrict how I use your data in certain circumstances.
– Object to my processing, including the right to object to analytics.
